In The Studio - News and Sports
You and a guest have been invited to our brand new event: In The Studio! The College of Journalism and Mass Communications is hosting an in-person multi-media production event in our new Don & Lorena Meier Television Studio. At this event, high school students have the opportunity to produce media content for a variety of platforms centered around a news and sports broadcast. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about careers in media, and to connect with current students, faculty, and staff!
At this event you will:
- Take a personal tour through Andersen Hall with a CoJMC student ambassador
- Advising Session for Parents
- Learn about tools and opportunities that can benefit your college experience
- Produce a broadcast news show that includes a sports segment
- Write broadcast scripts for television
- Meet and network with CoJMC student ambassadors, faculty, and staff
Event details:
Date: Saturday, October 12, 2024
Time: Check-in at 1:00 p.m.
Event will conclude around 5:30 p.m.
