Karen is responsible for assisting the Special Projects Coordinator in the overall accounting and budgeting tasks in the College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Some of her duties include accounts payable, and processing various funding requests. She is also responsible for processing employee reimbursements, internal charges and journal entries. In addition, Karen reconciles various accounts and produces budget reports.

Before coming to CoJMC she was an Accounting Clerk II with Nebraska Department of Roads, Controller Division, Accounting Department. She has also been a temp for University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Agriculture.

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, she has resided in Lincoln for the past 15 years and is an avid Husker fan.
