Brett Baker is an award-winning television news journalist and producer with more than 30 years of broadcast experience.

Brett is a Senior Producer at Straight Arrow News where he produces the weekly series 'Weapons & Warfare'. Before starting at SAN he was the Executive Producer at 10/11 News in Lincoln, where, over the years, he produced 10/11's 5:00 am, 6:00 am, 6:00 pm & 10:00pm shows in addition to countless specials and live, breaking news events.

Before moving to Lincoln he lived San Antonio, TX. For more than a decade, he served as the Senior Sports Producer for KSAT 12. His work was twice recognized by the Associated Press’ as the 'Best Sportscast' in the state of Texas.

Brett is a proud graduate of the U.S. Military’s Defense Information School and an Air Force veteran. His career has taken to him to 17 countries, covering everything from the war in the Balkans to the Super Bowl.

In his spare time, Brett serves on the Executive Committee of the Nebraska Speech Communication & Theatre Association (NSCTA), and is in his 12th year as an Assistant Speech Coach at his alma mater, Malcolm High School.

He's originally from Malcolm, Nebraska and is very proud to work in the area that he calls home.
