On April 8, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. CST, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Chapter will be hosting an “Ask Me Anything” event with IBM Chief Communications Officer (CCO) Jonathan H. Adashek. During the event, students will have the opportunity to hear directly from the CCO and ask him any questions.
This is a unique opportunity for students to speak to a distinguished member of a field they may be interested in pursuing. Adashek has been at IBM since January of 2020 but has 25 years of experience in communications, marketing and corporate affairs. He has worked both domestically and globally. Adashek worked in the Clinton administration, on several U.S. presidential campaigns, as well as at the White House and the Treasury Department.
Before joining IBM, Adashek’s positions included Alliance Global Vice President, Communications for Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance in Paris, Communications Strategy at Microsoft, and Executive Vice President and Global Client Relationship Manager at Edelman. During his time at Edelman, he worked with clients such as Microsoft, Starbucks, Walmart, and the United Arab Emirates government.
