University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications wins top PRSA Nebraska honors

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications received 11 Paper Anvil Awards at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Nebraska Chapter’s 2014 Gala.

University of Nebraska–Lincoln won Best of Show, four Awards of Excellence and six Awards of Merit. The work represented in-class projects and the college’s public relations chapter (PRSSA).

University of Nebraska–Lincoln was recognized in the categories of classroom campaign, campus event, relationship-building, student chapter project, social media campaign and community or nonprofit event.

PRSA Nebraska’s Paper Anvil Awards are presented annually to professionals and students that have successfully addressed a public relations issue. Awards of excellence are reserved for outstanding entries that did a superior job of meeting the stated goals and in achieving results. Awards of merit are for entries that met stated goals and demonstrated good results.
