The Nebraska chapter of the Public Relations Society of America awarded UNL’s Public Relations Student Society of America with 10 Paper Anvil Awards.
This year Jacht, a full-service, student-led advertising agency won two of the 10 awards. The 2020 Bateman team won three, and the chapter itself won five awards.
As PRSSA chapter adviser and Jacht executive director, CoJMC faculty member Jemalyn Griffin was able to work with the PRSSA student award winners and much of the Jacht team.
“I’m very proud of these hardworking students,” Griffin said. “Many of these initiatives were completed at the peak of the pandemic, and these student leaders pushed forward and truly shined during a period of great adversity.”
The Virtual Paper Anvil Awards Gala in January 2021 will honor all award winners across the state.
