Congratulations to two CoJMC alumni on making big strides in their careers. Ronald Ng joined MRM, a marketing agency and part of McCann Worldgroup, as their new global chief creative officer, and Jeff Zeleny has been named chief national affairs correspondent at CNN.

Ng’s previous role was global chief creative officer at Isobar. In 2019 Isobar had their most successful year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and Ng was one of the key players in that milestone.

"We are making a huge bet on MRM being even more of a force for McCann Worldgroup going forward, so adding the highest caliber talent is priority number one," said Rob Reilly, Global Creative chairman of McCann Worldgroup. "But you also need that talent to be wildly inspiring and genuinely a good person. Ronald is the gold standard when it comes to this rare combination."

In addition to Zeleny’s new role as chief national affairs correspondent at CNN, he will also cover Biden's first year in the White House. This is the fourth consecutive presidency he’s covered, and although the 2020 election was his second presidential election covered with CNN, it was his sixth overall in his career.

Zeleny joined CNN in 2015 as the white house correspondent. He was previously ABC’s senior Washington correspondent where he reported on the Obama administration and the Republican Party gaining control of the U.S. Senate in the 2014 midterms.
