Michael Goff , M.Ed., Ed.S.
Professor of Practice
Michael Goff is a professor of practice in the advertising and public relations sequence in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. He has taught a variety of courses, including media history, advertising research and strategy, promotional writing, advertising and public relations campaigns and the art of writing.
In 2015 he received his 15th certificate of recognition from University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Parents Association and Teaching Council for service to students. In 2014 he received the James V. Griesen Award for Exemplary Service to Students. In 2004 he received the college's Outstanding Faculty Service Award. In 1989 he received the campus-wide Student Foundation/Builder's Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Advising.
He holds an undergraduate degree in journalism education and an M.Ed. and Ed.S. in educational administration, all from University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
