Jill graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education, then taught English and coached cheerleading at a school in Chicago. In 2010, she moved back to Nebraska and taught in Omaha and Lincoln. In 2012 she returned to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as a full-time student to pursue a master's degree in higher education administration. Before joining the CoJMC in 2013, she assisted with undergraduate recruitment as a graduate assistant for the College of Education and Human Sciences. Outside of work, Jill is a board member of the Guidance to Success Youth Club and is an alumni advisor to a campus sorority.
