Rachael Seravalli

Rachael Seravalli is a graduate student in the News-Ed program and works in public relations for the U.S. Geological Survey in Nebraska. Rachael received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, and she chose the journalism program at UNL because of its quality reputation and encouraging faculty. As a student, she reported for the Daily Nebraskan, the Des Moines Register and the Lincoln Journal Star. She specializes in writing about research, environmental issues and science of all kinds. In her current position, she helps communicate results from water-quantity and water-quality studies in Nebraska to the public.
