The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications announced on March 27 that Marissa Lindemann is the 2024 George and Eva Grimes Memorial Competition winner. Lindemann is a sophomore broadcasting and journalism double major from Des Moines, Iowa.

Purdum and McCurry to deliver Seline Lecture April 25

In a pivotal presidential election year, two distinguished veterans of politics who played at the highest levels will share their insights on campus in April.

Todd Purdum, who covered the Clinton White House for The New York Times, will face off with Mike McCurry, who served as press secretary for President Clinton.

Nominations open for faculty and staff awards

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Journalism and Mass Communications is accepting nominations for the annual faculty and staff awards. Nominations will be accepted from faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the college. Nominations for the awards are due by March 31. Please submit a nomination form and optional (1-page max) letters of support.
