Huskers place third in the National Student Advertising Competition

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's team placed third at the District 9 American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) held in Kansas City on April 19. The regional competitors come from colleges and universities in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. Seven schools competed at this year’s competition.

CoJMC celebrates 63 graduates at December commencement

UNL’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications celebrates the 63 students who graduated on Dec. 16, 2023, with a bachelor's degree in journalism. CoJMC is the only program in Nebraska accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications. The degree provides students with the technical skills, broad liberal arts education, and critical thinking skills necessary to excel in the ever-changing journalism and mass communications industries.
