Senior Connor Clark of Lake Bluff, Illinois will graduate from the CoJMC this May. This summer he'll start his first post-grad role as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Lincoln Saltdogs baseball team.

Sriyani Tidball

Sriyani Tidball awarded a Fulbright Specialist Grant

The Council for International Exchange of Scholars has awarded Sriyani Tidball a Fulbright Specialist grant. She will serve as a communication specialist in communications and journalism with the Centre for Women’s Research in Sri Lanka beginning in January.

AT&T Brand Competition

The CoJMC has been selected to participate in 2014 AT&T Campus Brand Challenge

Matt Waite Invited to Inaugural Al Jazeera Event

Matt Waite is one of 90 individuals chosen to participate in a media innovation hackathon sponsored by Al Jazeera in Doha, Qatar. Waite was one of 1,000 applicants and learned of his acceptance in late October.

Faiz Siddiqui finishes first in Hearst feature writing competition

Faiz Siddiqui placed first in the Hearst feature writing competition for his story titled, "Saving Sisay." This represents Siddiqui’s fourth top-five Hearst award. He was a runner-up in the national writing championship in 2013.

Klein to return to University of Nebraska–Lincoln for Alumni Masters Week

CoJMC announces 2015 NSAC team
