APME NewsTrain Stops in Lincoln

Monday, April 11, 2016 - 11:15am

University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications hosted the Associated Press Media Editors’ NewsTrain, on Saturday, April 9, 2016.

"APME brings in top-notch trainers with national reputations to conduct sessions on the latest media trends and technologies,” said CoJMC Professor Sue Burzynski Bullard. “When I was a newspaper editor, I found NewsTrain sessions extremely valuable for my staff. I think journalists in our region will find that true in our workshop too.”

More than 100 journalists, educators and students spent a day digging deep into using social media, reporting with data, and covering news on multiple platforms.
