Qualifications: WOWT is seeking a candidate with knowledge and experience in a broadcast television live news production environment. This candidate will need a minimum of one year hands-on experience and a working knowledge of electronic broadcast systems (Preferably Avid iNEWS newsroom automation; Pinnacle FxDeko II, Deko 1000, & Thunder; Chyron Infinit!, Liberty paint; and TSM robotic studio cameras.). Candidate must also possess strong typing skills and be a good speller. This position will be responsible for producing graphics for a fast paced live newscast. On-air operational skills in a broadcast environment are preferred. Knowledge of studio lighting is definitely a plus.
Strong computer, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required. Must be highly motivated, dedicated, and comfortable working in a high urgency environment.
Must be willing to work flexible hours and other duties as assigned. Need person with ability to communicate and work effectively with others, ability to solve problems and work with only moderate supervision.
