Job Title: "No Limits" Assistant Project Coordinator

This part-time, grant-funded position requires 15-20 hours per week. Flexible schedule available.

Job Summary
No Limits is Nebraska's first youth-led, adult-guided movement dedicated to reducing the influence of the tobacco industry on Nebraska's youth. The group's goals are educating, motivating, and empowering teens to take action against Big Tobacco. No Limits is building an infrastructure of training, support, and youth-led decision making to mobilize youth to prevent tobacco use. The No Limits Assistant Project Coordinator will provide project coordination and administrative duties in the daily operations of this movement.

Job Duties
Coordinate projects and provide administrative and office support for the No Limits youth tobacco prevention movement. Duties will include event planning, facilitation of community grant program, and Web site maintenance. Web site maintenance will include updating content, downloads, and images and moderating message boards. Other duties will include word processing, data entry and database management, mailings and mail merges, and conference calls. Detail management, Internet research abilities, and strong communication skills are required. Occasional evening and weekend hours as well as some in-state travel are required.

Ability to effectively communicate with teen audiences. Ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities in a focused manner. Ability to analyze and integrate information from relevant sources. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals/groups. Handles self in a professional manner at all times and takes personal responsibility for delivering on personal and organizational commitments.

Additional Specifications
Must be familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, and Internet usage. Experience with MS Outlook, MS Access, and Web site maintenance is beneficial.

Timing, Compensation
The compensation will be $10 - $12 dollars an hour
The current grant cycle runs until June 30th but we anticipate the grant to be renewed for another year to 18 months at that time.
