KETV Creative Services Part Time Production Assistant/Graphics Artist
The ideal candidate will have:
• Advanced knowledge of computers
• Extensive electronic graphics ability
• Excellent artistic composition skills
• Good spelling and grammar skills
• Television production experience
• Knowledge of studio lighting
Major duties:
Part-time production assistants/graphics artists will work extensively in design and production of computer graphics utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Deko, and other 2D and 3D graphics systems for news, marketing, public service and commercial clients.
Part -time Production Assistants/Graphics Artists help prepare for and work during live newscasts. As instructed by directors, producers and managers, they help prepare scripts, generate computer graphics, operate graphics systems, operate teleprompters, and work with talent and guests.
Part -time Production Assistants/Graphics Artists will also operate the lighting board, assemble and place lights, replace lamps, assist during rehearsals and commercial taping sessions. They will also place sets and keep them clean and in good repair.
Other related duties may be assigned.
This position requires the ability to work creatively and unsupervised in a flexible constantly changing schedule at ANY TIME during the broadcast day.
