Students who get involved in professional associations are more likely to graduate from our program with a job in hand. The Advertising Federation of Lincoln, a local chapter of the national American Advertising Federation, seeks students to join committees and in turn, offers the opportunity to network with some of Lincoln's best and brightest leaders in the ad business. Make time to do the things that will help you get the job you want!
AFL Communications Committee:
Tasks could include keeping up on UNL news regarding advertising, writing articles/press releases, creating HTML emails, searching for new/unique stories in the advertising community either locally or nationally and taking photos at Ad Fed events.

AFL Education Committee:
Help plan student-focused events like the annual Ad Camp. Put together profiles of new AFL student members for the newsletter. Connect with other advertising, creative and PR programs at other institutions.

Other opportunities with AFL include working with the ADDYS committee to plan this annual awards show, helping with monthly luncheons and working on the pro bono campaign for this year's non-profit organization.
