Lone Star College-University is currently welcoming applicants for Vice President, Instruction & Student Services (#1972).
The Vice President of Instruction and Student Services should promote an environment supportive of the college and system mission, vision and strategic plan, student success, student centered services and teaching excellence. The Vice President provides effective, creative and energetic leadership by promoting, supporting and evaluating innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and ensures an inclusive decision-making process through shared governance across the college community.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Master's degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in student development with directly related experience in supervision of a wide range of student development functions.
- At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in higher education.
- Demonstrated experience in acquiring external funding and resources.
- Earned doctorate from an accredited institution preferred.
