Part-Time Position Production Assistant
Jamie Wenz, Government Access Supervisor for Time-Warner Cable in Lincoln, will be in Andersen Hall on Thursday, September 14 to interview students for a part-time position as a production assistant. Mr. Wenz will conduct 15 minute interviews from 3 to 5 p.m. on the afternoon of the 14th.

PURPOSE STATEMENT: This part-time position provides hands-on experience with professional video production equipment including training, taping and editing opportunities.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position generally reports to the Community Access Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Time Warner Cable programs on five cable channels.
- Providing training and technical assistance to community users.
- Directing city government meetings.
- Producing a variety of Time Warner Cable productions.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
HUMAN RELATIONS: Must be able to work with co-workers and community access users. This position has no supervisory requirements.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school education or equivalen
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Undergraduate course work in video production a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
- Computer skills are a plus.
- Candidates should possess strong video production skills, the ability to work well with others and a desire to learn.
- Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Stand and sit for long periods of time.
