UNL students take 23 awards in photo contest

  Josh Wolfe of the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications was named Student Photographer of the Year, and classmate Derek Lippincott took runnerup honors in the Nebraska News Photographers contest in April.

  The contest, which was held in the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications, was judged by Tekamah native Mike Davis, associate director of photography at The White House, and Bill Snead, former Washington Post staff photographer and assistant managing editor, who is now senior editor for the Lawrence (Kan.) Journal World.
