Three COJMC students named to homecoming court

  Advertising major Emily Hurd was named UNL homecoming queen during the halftime of the football game on Saturday, Oct. 20. Matthew Donahoe and Cortney Van Cleave, also journalism students, were members of the 2001 homecoming court at UNL.

  Donahoe is majoring in advertising and English with a minor in marketing. He is from Omaha.

  Van Cleave is a broadcasting major with an emphasis in public relations and minors in communication studies and marketing. She is from Omaha.

  Hurd, a senior from Papillion, has minors in Spanish and English.

  Homecoming festivities were held the week of Oct. 14, culminating in the football game and coronation at Saturday’s game.
