J Days Alumni Awards of Excellence
Began in 1992, J Days is a week-long celebration about the accomplishments of the students, faculty and alumni of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. The CoJMC presents Alumni Awards of Excellence, the Nebraska Broadcast Pioneer Award, the college distinguished teaching award, Dean's Award and the Thomas C. Sorensen Award for Distinguished Nebraska Journalism each April.

The Nebraska Champions Club is the new home of the NAA's Football Fridays. More than 2,500 alumni and fans from 36 states attended the events at the club, kicking off home-game weekends in the shadow of Memorial Stadium.
- A game preview panel, with former Huskers and local media offering insights and predictions each week. Former Huskers Matt Davison, Jay Foreman, Tommie Frazier, Ty Steinkuhler and Steve Taylor all drop by to share their thoughts on the Huskers.
- Appearances by a Nebraska assistant football coach each week.
- Emcee Greg Sharpe of the Husker Sports Network.
- Entertainment by DJ Craig Estudillo.
Alumni Association EventsMasters Week (November)
Alumni “masters” return to campus to share their experience and advice with current students. These alumni are honored for their accomplishments, and have the chance to show students how they have applied their education to their careers.
